Produce on R & R Farms is grown using organic practices and sustainable agriculture, which means that no harmful chemicals are put into the soil or onto the plants. Thus, produce is healthy for the environment and the consumer. Sustainable practices used are crop rotation, use of organic fertilizers, conservation tilling only the areas that are to be planted leaving untilled areas staggered between tilled rows, and free range and organically fed chickens. We also plant companion and pollinator-attracting plants to help with pollination of the crops.
